The only advantage of X8 is it's higher screen resolution and it's +0.2mp camera, while Galaxy mini has more important negative things. From me +1 Galaxy Mini

you don't get multitouch for flashing a new rom..... it's the screen that matter multitouch or not

I prefer xperia x8. the mini's screen resolution is just plain too small for proper android experience. You can't experience true Android with only 320x240. Samsung's UI is also quite ugly in my opinion. SE's Eclair firmware is very stable, no random reboots at all. And if you want multi touch or latter Android version (Froyo or Gingerbread) you can simply flash custom ROMs, plenty are already stable now :D

Samsung Mini! I had the Sony Ericsson x8, hated it after a few moths. Kept turning on, off, on, off.... Sending messages twice to the same person and I got bored of it... I got the Samsung Mini then. Much better! Better touch screen, layout, practically everything is better. :)
