I think that the biggest difference is the operating system, and I think that depending the user one would be superior to the other. I really prefer how Android lets you configure your work table and personalize it more that a closed iOS. However, I think that iOS is smoother and easier (at least, everybody with an iPhone has the same look and feel), where Android can vary a lot. I think that in the market, you'll find an app that you need regardless of which platform it is (equivalent apps, not the same one that runs in both platforms). I like that Android interfaces with Google and that the mac contacts, mail and calendar also syncs with google, but I think that it would as well with iOS, so integrating with the desktop could be pretty much similar.

ace is any day better then 3gs. ace has much better quality and apps on play store is better than the ones in app store bcause almost all the apps are free while iphone 3gs almost all app are paid.

i have had both the ace an the 3gs an i can clearly say thr ace wins by miles. the 3gs maybe a bit faster an it may have jailbreak but android's have custom roms which is far better than jailbreak because not only does it make your phone faster an cooler but you can get a hacked android market aswell so to conclude the ace wins.

I have to agree with you, although I am a huge iphone fan. My Dad just got me an Iphone 4 8gb for my birthday and after a week, it didn't even turn on. It was stuck in recovery mode. I was completely heartbroken because it was the most beautiful phone I have ever seen in my life. So we got a refund for it and I didn't want to blow 400 dollars on something that was gonna leave me heartbroken so we took a galaxy ace from Telus and they work like a charm. ( we aren't rich so using 400 bucks for a phone is a really big deal for us)

Well it takes ages to do anything on the Galaxy Ace thanks to its 384MB of RAM and crummy Android operating system, compared to iPhone 3GS' 256MB of RAM and far superior iOS operating system.

What you should say is "NOT the OS and the processor." Dave did not mention the OS, does that mean his is a "stupid narrow view"? Of course not.
